How it works
Tell us about them
Their name and how to say it, who they are to you, and up to three things only you would know. Then pick a style, from acoustic and piano to country, soul or a lullaby.
Hear it first, free
About five minutes later, play the song up to the end of the first chorus, the part with their name. Not quite right? Have one more go, also free.
Keep it for £19.99

Chorus
Happy birthday, Maya, thirty today,
Raise a glass and we'll sing it your way.
Wrong words and all, Maya, loud and free,
Here's to the years and the ones still to be.
For the people who are hard to buy for
A song can't be bought in a shop, because it didn't exist until you asked for it. People play them at birthday dinners, in wedding speeches and on the drive home.

Questions people ask
- Is it really sung with their name?
Yes, in every chorus. Before you hear it, our listening check makes sure the name comes through clearly. If it doesn't, we make it again. If a name is easy to say wrong, tell us how it sounds and we'll spell it out for the singer.
- Who makes the song?
AI does, and we say so plainly. Our software writes the words from what you tell us, and Google's Lyria music model sings and plays it. Every song carries Google's inaudible SynthID watermark.
- How long does it take?
Usually about five minutes for your free preview. The full song unlocks the moment you pay. We also email you a link, so you can close the page and come back.
- What do I get for £19.99?
The full song (roughly two and a half minutes) as an MP3, the words to print or copy into a card, a private gift page to send them, and one free change if a line isn't right.
- What if I don't like it?
Then don't pay. You can try once more before buying, free. After you buy, we'll redo it once. If anything is actually wrong with it, such as a misspelt name or a glitch, email us and we'll fix it or refund you.
- Can I share it?
Of course: play it at the party, send it, post it. It's for personal use, so please don't sell it or upload it to streaming services.
- What happens to the details I give you?
We use them only to make the song. Unpaid previews are deleted after 30 days. Read the privacy notice for the full picture.
